The TM Rain Bird indoor/outdoor controller is easy to use with optional watering frequencies. With the flexibility of 3 programs and 4 start times per program, you can tailor your watering schedule to your landscape’s needs.

This unit has watering preferences, rainsensor hook-up, wifi capabilities. Simply plug it in, set the zones and watch your landscape flourish.

   DURA  MANIFOLD

The manifold is designed as a 3/4" or 1" system. Your choice. The valves have an arrow to indicate water flow direction from source to irrigation pipes. Connect the valves to the zone pipes with the turnseal male adapters (included).

Use Teflon tape (included) on the turnseal adapters. The manifold has o'rings, no tape needed. Hook up the manifold to your water supply with transition fitting from hardware store.

   DRIP GARDEN KITS

The optional garden kit will provide enough sprayers for 75 grouped plants. Depending on the package, you can select up to three garden spray kits as part of the overall irrigation system.

The pre-determined garden stakes are six inches high and can be adjustable for water flow 0-24 gallons per hour up to 0.4 gpm with a radius anywhere between one foot to ten foot throw. Be sure to select the one best suited for your landscape requirements.

   ELECTRIC  VALVE

The Rain Bird DV 24v Valves are designed for maximum reliability and grit resistance with virtually zero maintenance.

Easy to install and wire. Comes with a bleed valve to manually flush system of dirt and debris during installation.

Both the solenoid and the diaphragm are removable, allowing for easy accessibility to clean or replace.

  WIFI  ADAPTER

The wifi link is a simple plug and play adapter that provides flexibility to control your irrigation system from anywhere. Simply locate the "remote" slot on the panel inside your controller, insert the wifi adapter then download the app.

You will have turnkey capabilities to operate your irrigation system and all it's functions with ease, including any troubleshooting.

   VALVE  BOX

Valve boxes are used to protect the manifold from critters and elements. They are size appropriate. If the package comes with three manifolds, there will be an equal amount of boxes.

Depending on the size of manifold, you will dig a hole to insert your valves beneath this box. Be sure to first level the dugout and apply 3-4 inches of gravel for drainage. When placing the box in ground, consider bridging the perimeter with bricks for sturdiness.

  REGULATOR/FILTER

075 filter prf.png

Filters and pressure regulators come with garden kits and pipe-sized appropriate. Both these parts help to protect the system from harsh chemicals and regulate water pressure to the garden areas.

If the irrigation system is attached to drinking water, install a backflow preventor after the meter line and before the irrigation manifold. Install both filter/regulator before the garden zone valve indicated in the brochure at INFO below

   POLY  PIPE

400 - 075.png

Distribution poly pipe is not included with the packages purchased online as each system will differ with pipe requirements according to lot shapes.

Our recommendations for pipe size and quantities are listed with each package for your reference.

You can purchase the pipe bundle in 100 footers or larger on this site or at your local hardware store.

   RAIN  SENSOR

rainsensor.png

The rain sensor is a highly intuitive icon-driven receiver. This two-part connection operates with the sensor panel wired to the controller and the other part  mounted to the eaves trough with a 300 foot line of sight back to the controller.

Adjust this unit to override your controller's schedule according to the amount of precipitation. When the rain clears, the schedule resumes.

   SPRINKLERS

all sprinkler.png

Each package is assembled with Rain Bird sprinklers referred to as: 1804, 3504, 5004; uniquely different with their own spray pattern and water output. Use like sprinklers on their own zone.

DO NOT mix the different sprinklers on a zone as this will cause the system to be inefficient or possibly not work at all. Rule of thumb:

1804 = 5 or 6 on a zone.

3504 = 3 or 4  on a zone.

5004 = 2 or 3 on a zone.

   IRRIGATION  TOOLS

Our packages come with the tools necessary to get the job done! The orange pipe cutters are durable for pipe sizes up to 1".

The green RotorTool is for operating the rotors; to lift the internal rotor, adjust the arc and insert the nozzle.

The purple garden tool in used for inserting and extracting the grey connectors into the garden supply line.
